Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed 10+2 with a minimum 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- Must have appeared in JEE Mains 2025.
Age Limit:
- 16½ to 19½ years as on 1st Jan 2026 (i.e., born between 2nd July 2006 and 1st July 2009).
Gender & Marital Status:
- Unmarried Male candidates only.
Nationality:
- Citizens of India, or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or certain PIO’s (as per official norms).
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications based on JEE Mains 2025 score.
- SSB Interview – a 5-day assessment at designated centers.
- Medical Examination.
- Merit List preparation based on SSB performance.
- Joining Letter issuance based on merit and vacancies.
Training & Career Path
Training Duration: 4 years
- Phase I: 3 years at CTW (CME Pune / MCTE Mhow / MCEME Secunderabad)
- Phase II: 1 year at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
Degree Awarded: Engineering Degree
Commission: Upon successful training, cadets are commissioned as Lieutenants.
Salary & Benefits
- Stipend: ₹56,100/month during final year at IMA.
- Starting CTC: ₹17–18 Lakhs per annum (excluding allowances).
